Kassel, 11.10.2023 – Hakan Aydemir is taking over the position of Chief Revenue Officer at plentysystems AG with immediate effect. The 37 year-old Berliner brings extensive experience in digital business and most recently successfully built up, among others, the MENA(T) regions at ChannelAdvisor, to become the third fastest-growing region.
CEO Jan Griesel wants to further expand C-Level management and is accordingly enthusiastic about the new appointment: “Hakan Aydemir was our first choice. For several years now, we have been observing what he is capable of achieving. Therefore, we are happy that we could now win him as CRO for plentysystems AG. I have come to know him as a passionate and focused leader who is a real team player in the process.”
Hakan Aydemir comments on his move as follows: “For me, joining plentysystems AG is the logical step. No other e-commerce system can keep up with the functional diversity and market penetration in multichannel sales. My primary task will be to raise the market potential in the enterprise sector, for which we can offer a comprehensive solution with the newly established plentyONE product range.”
Hakan Aydemir, a dedicated family man, started his digital journey in online marketing at JalouCity, followed by stints in SEO and SEA, culminating in his appointment as Head of Digital Business. He then led the expansion of the DACH region at ChannelAdvisor, driving the development of strategic accounts globally while transforming the MENA(T) region into the company’s third fastest growing region.
According to his own statement, his job consists mainly of finding friends all over the world - and that’s what he enjoys most. Hakan Aydemir wants to make plentysystems AG the market leader in European digital commerce: “I followed the plenty keynote event and the presentations with all the facts and figures they contained made me realise what potential plenty has.
