The new and updated SOAP API version 112 has been available since the start of June. This version is available along with plentymarkets 5.1 and contains comprehensive changes. These changes apply especially to the former content pages, categories, listings and the CMS. Several data structures were improved in plentymarkets 5.1, which made it necessary to have a new SOAP version as well.

The previous versions 105 - 108 are no longer available in plentymarkets 5.1. The versions 109 - 111 are still available. However, we recommend using SOAP version 112 with plentymarkets 5.1.

One of the new features in 5.1 is that you can immediately select categories when creating a new item. This can not be done with the old calls from the older versions. Take a look at the changes yourself in our version history. Here you will find a list of existing and new calls. In the lower list of calls on this page, you can see the old calls that still exist, but that are no longer fully functional in plentymarkets 5.1 if you are using any version other than 112.

The new SOAP API has much to offer. One of the new features is that you can create and edit reorders. You can even edit reorders on the stock unit level. This allows external service providers to edit reorders autonomously.

Furthermore, you can now completely edit listings (auctions) with the 25 new calls included in version 112. The functions of these calls range from creating listings to creating templates, carrying out market specific settings and carrying out different update functions. This way you can start, stop or change current listings. These calls allow you to manage everything you can do in the plentymarkets backend using SOAP calls.
