The plentymarkets Client allows you to link plentymarkets to locally installed devices. Many interesting and important improvements have been made to the Client during the past few weeks in order to facilitate your work outside the web browser and to provide access to important local devices such as printers.
Our innovative process editor is also only available in the Client. Here you can map your company's processes and carry them out automatically. Thanks to the Client you can also automatically print documents and register important data with a barcode scanner.
What's new, what has been improved and what has changed?
NEW
The new function "directories" of the Save sub-procedure is now selected in a native dialog. Furthermore, you can now generate, save and print return labels in processes. Additionally, we developed the plentymarkets URL scheme, which makes it possible to access systems, areas and content in plentymarkets via URLs. Instructions for doing so are explained in detail on a new page of the manual. For more details click here. By using a link such as plentymarkets://1000/ticket/1234/, the version 206 now enables you to directly open a menu (in this case the ticket system) or specific content (in this case the ticket with the ID 1234) in a system (in this case the system with the plenty-ID 1000) in the Client.
FIX
Errors occurring in saved file paths or printer settings have been fixed successfully. These occurred if the Mac address of the network adapter (e.g. some LTE sticks) was changed often or if you often switched from WLAN to Ethernet. Errors occurred in processes that included order group processing work steps when carried out on older iMac computers. These errors have been fixed successfully as well.
CHANGE
One significant change is that an exception to the rule in the Client version 206 now allows processes with endless loops if they contain a procedure that is carried out manually by the user. You can find detailed information about all changes made in the Client version 206 here.
How to install the Client:
The plentymarkets Client is not integrated in the plentymarkets system but rather is installed as software on your PC.
Requirements for installing and using the software with Windows:
- Internet connection
- A plentymarkets system with version 5.000 or higher
- Windows 7 or Windows 8, 32 or 64-Bit
- Important: Java VM has to be installed as a 32-Bit version

- Internet connection
- A plentymarkets system with version 5.000 or higher
- Mac OS X 10.9 and higher versions
- Important: Java VM has to be installed as a 32-Bit version
