The new plentymarkets Client version 200 is now available for beta-testing. We welcome all kinds of test results.

Before we could provide a new range of possibilities for processes, we first had to rework the internal software layout. All program elements were divided into different modules that now communicate with each other via socket. This allows for a notedly improved processor load of multi-core CPUs. You will also be able to update individual modules in the future. You will be able to install the updates faster since the amount of data will be much smaller.

The improved CPU load and the fundamental optimization also allows you to process a large amount of PDF documents within a process.

Problems with your printer?

Some generally older printer models are not able to process the format specifications that are sent to it. In this case you can now open the printer dialog box before printing. To do so, select open for the Printer dialog option in the Settings » Basic settings » Printer » ... menu.

Are you using a firewall?

If you are using a firewall, you can assign a port range to the plentymarkets Client that is compatible with the internal socket structure. The default installation ranges from Port 4000 to Port 5000.

You can change this range in the plentymarkets.config file. The values of the range are separated by commas. Use a range of at least 150 ports here.

In windows you will usually find this file under:
C:\Programs\plentymarkets\plentymarkets.config

If you are using Mac OS X, then the file is found under:
/Applications/plentymarkets.app/Contents/java/app/plentymarkets.config

The default entry has the following value:
PORTRANGE=4000,5000
