The latest SOAP API version 115 includes many new calls and parameters that help you transmit data more precisely between external systems and plentymarkets. We've also introduced a new SOAP API changelog so that you can easily see what has changed from one version to the next.

What's new in version 115?

We released a new and improved coupon module back in July. The module provides sellers with a wide range of new filters and settings. Thanks to the SOAP API version 115, all of the functions in the coupon module are now also available via API.

Furthermore, it is now also possible to define formats for the dynamic export via API. The call SetDynamicExport allows you to do so. Use this call to create new export formats or to overwrite existing formats. If you want to see a list of existing dynamic import and export formats, then use the call GetDynamicFormats. The call GetDynamicExport allows you to retrieve a specific export format and all of the data fields that it includes. Finally, use the call SetDynamicImport to apply the format's data to your system.

The call SetReorders not only allows you to create and edit reorders, but also to book stock into your system. In other words, this call allows you to complete the reorder.

Parameters for eBay Plus were added to the call SetMarketListings. This allows you to set up a listing for eBay Plus via SOAP.

The new changelog

The SOAP API changelog allows you to compare the current version with any of the past 5 versions. Simply download the documentation for the current version and open the changelog folder. You will see several different files in this folder. Each file allows you to compare a different version. Click on a call in the changelog to see the current documentation for the SOAP API. Here, you will see the entire call with all of its parameters. However, the changelog itself only displays the parameters that changed, rather than all of the parameters for a call. This helps keep the changelog from becoming too long.
The next versions of the changelog will include additional information. If a call is deleted, then the changelog will specify which call replaced it. This makes it even easier for you to work with the SOAP API.
