Have you heard of or are you already using eBay's out-of-stock option?
Since the end of last year, this eBay function has made it possible for items that are sold out to remain visible even though they can not be purchased. This function can only be used for "Good Til' Cancelled" offers (GTC offers). If this function is activated for an offer, then it will immediately be available again as soon as the item is back in stock. The main difference between this option and re-listing items is that this option allows the listing to keep it's listing ID and other data. This means that the amount of items sold so far will not be reset.
Another advantage named by eBay is that listing fees might be credited to you if an offer is not sold during a billing period, i.e. if no items were sold during the billing period.

eBay's out-of-stock option

The function was integrated into plentymarkets and is available to you with plentymarkets 6.10 in the Account settings menu. Simply check which offers you can use this function for and where you can benefit from the advantages.

Read more about this in the eBay announcement.
