plentymarkets plugins are a great way to customise your system to meet your needs. But the more plugins you use, the more settings and changes you'll have to keep track of. Plugin sets can help you manage it all and improve your workflow. In this article, you'll learn what plugin sets are, how you can benefit from them and what changes you should expect.

plentymarkets Plugin Sets

The new plugin sets feature will be made available to all plentymarkets 7 users next week.

The most important changes at a glance:

  1. We've completely re-done the user interface.
  2. You can now manage plugin sets, marketplace plugins and Git plugins within the plugin overview.
  3. We've done away with "stage" and "productive" modes.

What is a plugin set and what does it do?

Plugin sets are a way for plentymarkets users to group several plugins together into a collection and then use this entire collection for their store. In other words, users no longer need to activate/deactivate individual plugins or continuously reconfigure settings in several different areas. Once a plugin set is correctly configured, the entire thing can be applied to a store.

This is particularly useful for sellers who manage multiple stores with plentymarkets. Now they can create different plugin sets for each store.

But even sellers who only use plentymarkets to manage one store will benefit from this feature. They can configure plugin sets for different situations and then quickly activate or deactivate them as needed.

New user interface for the plugin overview

We've re-done the plugin overview so that users will be able to manage their plugins more easily. Not only can users manage their plugin sets here, but they can also manage individual marketplace plugins and Git plugins.

Sellers can use a preview function to see how a plugin set will look in their store's front end. This preview function makes "stage" and "productive" modes obsolete.
