From now on, you can list your items more easily on Amazon with a new Amazon flat file which requires fewer specifications to list an item on Amazon: Let us introduce the new Amazon Offer flat file in this blog entry which tells everything you need to know about it!
You already know how to export items to Amazon with the help of inventory file templates, also known as flat files. Flat files are used to have a standardised product display on Amazon and to help prevent the same product from being listed multiple times.
Offer your items faster on Amazon with the Offer flat file
The new Amazon Offer flat file is a slimmer flat file which requires fewer specifications to list an item on Amazon. Compared to other Amazon flat files, only the fields ASIN, SKU, quantity, price, and condition need to be filled. As the ASIN is specified, your item is matched with an existing item on Amazon, and therefore other specifications, such as the title etc., are not required. Moreover, the item export to Amazon becomes more successful and less prone to errors because fewer specifications have to be synchronised with the Amazon catalogue. Hence, data maintenance is reduced and you can start selling your items on Amazon in only a few steps.
How it works
To download the template, go to System » Markets » Amazon » Data exchange » Data export and select Offer for the option Export the item catalogue.
